Advaitha – A Symphony is the Foundation’s flagship awareness initiative dedicated to promoting drowning prevention through the universal language of music.
Created in memory of Advaitha, the initiative seeks to connect with young people, families, educators, policymakers, artists, and community leaders through cultural programmes that inspire dialogue and action.
The campaign uses:
- Music performances
- Youth competitions
- Public conversations
- Awareness seminars
- Conferences and workshops
- Community outreach programmes
- Educational materials and pamphlets
- Digital awareness campaigns
to spread the message of water safety and drowning prevention.
Each year, the initiative marks the International Day for the Prevention of Drowning, observed globally on 25 June.
Advaitha – A Symphony Music Award 2025
Believing that music is one of the most powerful ways to connect people, inspire emotions, and spark meaningful conversations, the Hemant Bala Advaitha Foundation launched the Advaitha – A Symphony Music Award in memory of Advaitha, whose love for music continues to inspire this initiative.
The award was conceived not merely as a musical competition but as a platform to engage young people in a larger conversation about life, responsibility, and the importance of drowning prevention. Through the universal language of music, the Foundation seeks to transform awareness into action and remembrance into hope.
The inaugural edition of the Award received an overwhelming response, with over 200 aspiring singers participating from different backgrounds. Following three rigorous rounds of competition, 12 finalists were selected to perform at the grand gala event held on 5 September 2025.
The competition celebrated talent, dedication, and artistic excellence, with the following prizes awarded:
- Winner: ₹50,000 and Trophy
- First Runner-Up: ₹31,000 and Trophy
- Second Runner-Up: ₹21,000 and Trophy
- Finalists: Consolation Prize of ₹2,100 each along with a commemorative shield
More than a contest, the Advaitha – A Symphony Music Award became a celebration of young talent and a powerful platform for social awareness. The event brought together artists, families, educators, community leaders, and supporters united by a shared purpose.
The Award stands as a tribute to Advaitha’s passion for music and serves as a poignant reminder that life is precious and fragile. Through every performance, every song, and every participant, the Foundation seeks to honour his memory while spreading a message that can save lives.

On 23 June 2026, the Foundation brings together artists, experts, policymakers, educators, and citizens committed to the cause of drowning prevention.
The event aims to create awareness, inspire action, and strengthen the collective commitment to ensuring that preventable drowning deaths become a thing of the past.
Through music, conversation, and community engagement, Advaitha – A Symphony seeks to turn remembrance into resilience and awareness into action. Sufi rendition by renowned Sufi Singer Sonam Kalra is the highlight of the evening.
